The McConnell Leadership Group's (MLG) new website launched on March 21, 2016. MLG hired me to build a new website for them several months ago. A start up with two principals, MLG wanted a site that would permit them to take full advantage of on line marketing and lead generation strategies. The challenge was to come up with a site that optimally promotes a boutique leadership training and development company in an increasingly competitive training environment. The goal was to leverage the Internet as much as possible to level the competitive playing field, permitting the Group to take a leap forward in the marketplace.
MLG retained me for the site building, and Barbara Singer for site graphic design and branding. Working as a team, we would meet for regular work sessions to come up with the best static content to optimize easy access to the information needed by visitors, and the ability to easily reach out to MLG to inquire about its services. I recommended Drupal 7 for its flexibility and its ability to rapidly build the necessary features.
“We're thrilled with the content, the look and the features”, noted Kim McConnell, principal of the McConnell Leadership Group. “The site's architecture allows us to easily update the site, permitting us to implement strategies for content marketing and bring us into competitive parity with larger, more established firms.”

McConnell also had words of praise for the site's graphic design, which for her, hit all the marks. “Barbara's graphic design uplifts the visitor with a contemporary look and a bright and positive color scheme, which was just what we were looking for. It matches our philosophy of leadership training,” McConnell said.
McConnell praised Drupal's flexible platform, which will allow the rapid rollout new features as they might provide a competitive advantage. “We feel that Drupal's modular architecture gives us the advantage to respond rapidly to the online needs of our clients, and to launch new ideas for lead generation, requiring only an incremental future investment rather than large-scale revamping,” stated McConnell.
